Public Service Annoucement began in 1995. When the four
most active members from the legendary hip hop group
Nameless and Faceless decided to set on a journey though
Space and Sound.

Eufone (K. Can), Sagana (M. Ingram), Mr. Gray (J. Gray)
and D.J. Poizen (S. King) make up Public Service Announcement.

Their travels have led them to Woodstock 99 in New York
where they performedto a crowd of 250,000 people.
They have toured with
the Joan Baez Review on the Gone from Dangertour,
and have studied the art of vocal transformation
and harmonizing with Ysai Barnswell of Sweet Honey
in the Rock in her vocal community workshop. They
have opened up for Krs One, Freestyle Fellowship, Masta
Ace,The Alcoholics, Public Enemy, Jurrassic 5, Diallated
Peoples, Beat Junkies, SpearHead, Mickey Hart's planet
drum, Mystik Journeymen, and a long list of other
underground artists across the U.S.A. , Phillipines and
Mexico.



PSA is the group responsible for the term Modern-Hop©,
combining elements of Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, Rock,
Electronic, Folk, Blues, Gospel, Spiritual, and
Experimental Music into something almost everyone can
relate to. PSA is truly a Motley crew of individuals. A
multicultural assemblance of awakened human beings,
working together for a common goal. The Goal being to
educate, make people dance and have a good time. Public
Service Announcement has a variety of performance
formats. They can perform Accapella, with a D.J., a live
band, and with an audience participation routine of
teaching the crowd to beatbox and make sounds for PSA to
rap on top of. Each format has won the group die hard
fans that can't wait to see what the group is going to do
next.( PSA can also combine all performance formats into
one mind altering show.) Currently working on new ways to
express themselves in different Groups They are all in contact
Every week and still perform locally in the Bay
Unfortunately, PSA only dropped one full length album,
'twelve songs about the same thing'
PSA has been teaching workshops on the four
elements of Hip-Hop to kids and adults at schools, camps
and after school programs throughout the U.S.A. PSA can
be booked for lectures, workshops, or the classic crowd
rocking Hip-Hop show.
